What are the top Indian products exported to Ras Al Khaimah?

Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) is the northernmost emirate of the UAE and one of its most industrially active — making it a significant destination for import from India to RAK across multiple product categories. RAK has a particularly strong ceramics and building materials manufacturing sector, which creates heavy demand for Indian raw material inputs.

The top Indian products exported to RAK include ceramic and porcelain raw materials (feldspar, kaolin, silica), which feed RAK’s world-famous ceramics tile industry. RAK Ceramics is one of the largest tile manufacturers globally, and Indian mineral suppliers are key partners in its supply chain.

Construction materials — including marble, granite, TMT bars, reinforcement steel, and cement additives — are heavily imported from India to supply RAK’s ongoing housing and infrastructure projects. RAK’s Vision 2030 plan includes major hotel, tourism, and residential development projects on Al Marjan Island and Jebel Jais mountain.

Food commodities, particularly basmati rice, pulses, and packaged food, are imported from India to serve RAK’s resident population (including a large Indian expatriate community) and the growing hospitality sector.

Industrial chemicals, construction adhesives, sealants, and paint raw materials are also imported from India for RAK’s manufacturing belt in Al Hamra Industrial Zone and Ras Al Khaimah Free Trade Zone (RAKFTZ).

At 3Hatz India Pvt. Ltd., we manage complete container shipments to RAK Port (Saqr Port), delivery to RAKFTZ, Al Hamra Industrial Zone, and all mainland RAK addresses, with full UAE Customs clearance under the CEPA preferential framework.
